Teens charged in relation to Rangeway burglaries

Four juveniles have been charged with a range of offences after police allegedly found them fleeing a property in Rangeway yesterday.

Geraldton police responded to a call about 11am and located the alleged offenders, all males aged between 13 and 15 years, after they attempted to jump a fence into a neighbouring property.

The juveniles were also wanted in relation to other recent offences in the area, police say.

A 13-year-old from Utakarra has been charged with three counts of aggravated burglary, two counts of stealing and two counts of trespass.

Two 14-year-olds from Rangeway were both charged with one count of aggravated burglary, one count of stealing and one count of trespass.

A 15-year old from Utakarra was charged with two counts of trespass.

The juveniles will appear before Geraldton Children’s Court at a later date.
