Two charged over Geraldton drug raid

Police have charged two people after a drug raid on a Geraldton house last week.

Officers executed a search warrant on a property on Thursday and seized two medium-sized cannabis plants, a small quantity of plant material, drug paraphernalia and a small hydroponic system.

A 42-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman have been charged with one count each of cultivating a prohibited plant, possessing a prohibited drug and possessing drug paraphernalia.

They are expected to appear before Geraldton Magistrate’s Court at a later date.
