Tennis programs are back up and running in Exmouth after Suncity Tennis Academy re-engaged with Exmouth Tennis Club to kick off its 2023 season.

With the help of the Academy/Remote Tennis Services Australia, the club will be offering a free family evening as a prelude to their new season, with lessons for all ages now available.

The academy was pleased to be bringing tennis back to the area.

“We are very pleased and extremely proud to be the driving and supporting partner in this re-activation of Tennis in Exmouth,” they said.

“We have been working with the club, committee, and coaches assisting with behind scenes business set-up, all in our dedicated commitment to the sustainability and growth of regional and remote tennis in WA.”

Exmouth Tennis Club will host their family night Saturday, February 18 from 5pm-7pm with a six-week training program beginning on February 20.

Suncity Tennis will also be hosting its first free family fun day in Geraldton on Friday, with a focus on families playing and staying active together.

Family Tennis Fun Day runs from 5.30pm-7pm and will include Redball games as well as other entertainment.

Registrations for the day can be made through academy coach Riza Chitgar 0412 686 540, while those interested in the Exmouth event or coaching should contact the club at exmouthtenniscoaching@gmail.com
