A 21-year-old Drummond Cove man charged in relation to the seizure of a large quantity of banana-shaped ecstasy pills at leavers’ celebrations has had his bail extended.

Ryan Thomas Horton appeared in the Geraldton Magistrate’s Court today to face charges of attempting to possess MDMA with intent to sell or supply and possession of stolen or unlawfully obtained property.

He was not required to enter pleas.

Police searched Mr Horton’s home on November 30 following the alleged seizure of 203 grams (seven ounces) of ecstasy pills and allegedly located $7100 cash, suspected to be unlawfully obtained from the sale of prohibited drugs.

Mr Horton’s bail, subsisting of reporting conditions and a $10,000 personal undertaking, was extended to his next court appearance on January 14.
