Dongara 19-year-old Charged Over Burnouts

Police have charged a 19-year-old Dongara man with reckless driving nearly three weeks after the alleged incident occurred.

On Saturday July 30, at about 2.30am police allege the man conducted a series of burnouts along Bungaru Road and Point Leander Drive in Port Denison.

Police say some of the tyre marks left along the road were about 50m long.

As a result of information received from the public and police enquiries the man was charged with one count of reckless driving.

He will appear in Geraldton Magistrates Court at a later date.
