House Rules 'bad guy' a good Samaritan

I noticed with interest the debate concerning Geraldton's House Rules contestants Brian and Karina Day, who were eliminated from the show last night.

At times during the series Brian was portrayed as acting in self-interest.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

Earlier this year, I was struggling to put up a shed on my property when Brian – a complete stranger - pulled up and asked if I needed a hand.

He spent the next five days with me getting the job done.

He is a genuinely nice bloke and one of the most helpful people one could ever meet.
