A man will face court today accused of harassing shoppers.

Police allege the 38-year-old Geraldton man was harassing shopping and jumping in the front of cars at the front of the Stirling Shopping Centre in Geraldton yesterday afternoon.

He was given a move-on notice to leave the area, but police allege he then started harassing shoppers in Marine Terrace.

He was arrested and charged with failing to comply with an order given by an officer.

He will face Geraldton Magistrate's Court today.
