Man appears in court over Beresford death

A man charged over the death of a Beresford woman on Saturday has appeared in court.

Damien Michael Reilly, 42, appeared before Geraldton Magistrate's Court this morning charged with unlawful assault leading to the death of Gloria Anne Reilly.

He was not required to enter a plea.

Mr Reilly was dressed in white hooded overalls and spoke only briefly to confirm his name.

He was remanded in custody until December 7 for a bail application.
