Police seize swords, tomahawk and knife
A 26-year-old Waggrakine man was charged with weapons offences late on Sunday night after police responded to reports of a suspicious person on McAleer Drive, Mahomets Flats.
It will be alleged the man was in possession of two swords, a tomahawk and a 21 centimetre blade.
Police also located a glass smoking implement in his back pack.
He was charged with possessing a controlled weapon, carrying a weapon with intent to cause fear and possessing drug paraphernalia.
The man will appear in Geraldton Magistrate’s Court at a later date.
