Chad James Broad: Geraldton Detectives charge 46yo man for allegedly luring and sexually assaulting 12yo

A 46-year-old-man is accused of supplying alcohol to a 12-year-old, luring her to an abandoned building in Geraldton and sexually assaulting her twice. Geraldton detectives allege between 11.30am and 4pm on Wednesday, March 15, Chad James Broad, 46, befriended a 12-year-old girl, supplied her with alcohol and lured her to an abandoned building on Fitzgerald Street where he allegedly sexually assaulted her twice. The man from Rangeway was arrested by detectives and charged with two counts of sexual penetration of a child under 13 years and aggravated indecent dealing of a child under 13 years. Mr Broad appeared in Geraldton Magistrates Court from custody on Friday, March 24. His bail was not considered and the case was adjourned until Tuesday, April 4 to seek legal advice.
