Welfare concerns for missing Meekatharra couple Norman Ryan and Valma Gilla

Police are concerned for the safety of a missing couple from Meekatharra.

Meekatharra police are urging the public to be on the lookout for a missing elderly couple who have not been seen since the weekend.

Valma Gilla is described as 155cm, medium build, with grey hair and brown eyes.

Norman Ryan, 77, and Valma Gilla, 78, were last seen at their Meekatharra home at 9am on Sunday, with police saying they were concerned for the couple’s safety.

Mr Ryan is described as 173cm, medium build, with grey/brown hair and brown eyes.

Ms Gilla is described as 155cm, medium build, with grey hair and brown eyes.

It is not known what the couple are wearing.

The couple are believed to be in possession of a black Suzuki Swift hatchback, registration 1EAW710, that has distinctive silver racing stripes.

Anyone who sees Mr Ryan or Ms Gilla are asked to call police immediately on 131 444.
