A Perth driver is facing traffic, theft and possible drug driving charges over an incident in Dongara yesterday.

Police allege the 26-year-old Forrestfield woman drove off from a Dongara service station without paying for fuel and was later found to be driving on a suspended licence in an unlicensed vehicle which had been stripped of a yellow sticker.

She also tested positive for methamphetamines.

She has been charged with stealing, no authority to drive and driving an unlicensed vehicle.

She could also face a charge of drug driving, pending further tests.

The woman is due to appear before Dongara Magistrate’s Court in April.
