Girl 'had concealed weapon'
Police spoke to a girl on Rifle Range Road, Rangeway, about 3.30pm on Saturday.
A search of her bag uncovered a boning knife with a 10 centimetre blade.
The girl allegedly said she carried it to “feel safe”.
The knife was seized and the girl was issued with a juvenile caution.
