Police made two drug arrests on this morning and last night.

About 2.20am today police stopped a man who was walking along Petchell Street, Rangeway.

It will be alleged a search of the man located two clip-seal bags containing a white crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine.

The 35-year-old man from Rangeway was charged with giving false personal details and possessing a prohibited drug.

About 8.10pm yesterday they stopped a Holden Commodore being driven along Chapman Road near Stella Road, Sunset Beach.

They searched the driver and the vehicle, allegedly locating a small tin holding numerous clip-seal bags contain a crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine and other items associated with drugs.

The 26-year-old driver from Wandina was charged with possessing a prohibited drug with intent to sell or supply.

Both men will appear in Geraldton Magistrate’s Court at a later date.
