'Pot' plant bust

A traffic stop in Geraldton on Saturday led to police allegedly locating four cannabis plants in a Ford Futura.

The stop was about 9.30pm when the sedan was travelling along Vincent Street, Spalding.

The 22-year-old male driver from Wonthella was subsequently charged with possessing and cultivating a prohibited plant.

He will appear in the Geraldton Magistrate’s Court at a later date.
