A woman has pleaded guilty to two counts of attempting to pervert the course of justice by falsifying DNA evidence.

She pleaded guilty in Geraldton Magistrate’s Court to the offences, which occurred in November and December last year.

The charges relate to parentage tests ordered for a Family Court case.

Magistrate Donna Webb ordered a written pre-sentence report and psychological report for the woman’s next appearance in the District Court at Geraldton at a later date.
