Star Gold Coast forward Ben King has been named for his first official match since undergoing a knee reconstruction last year.

King tore his ACL in February 2022, but he has been given the green light to return in Saturday's practice match against GWS at Blacktown.

It will mark his first match since 2021, and he'll line up at full forward in an attack featuring the likes of Mabior Chol, Jack Lukosius, Ben Ainsworth, Nick Holman and Joel Jeffrey.

Sam Collins returns to the backline after being rested for the match simulation against Essendon.

Touk Miller (hamstring) remains sidelined.

Richmond have been boosted by the return of Tom Lynch (foot), Shai Bolton (personal reasons), Nathan Broad (hamstring) and Liam Baker (appendix) for their pre-season match against Melbourne.

The Demons are without Jack Viney (knee), Christian Salem (thyroid) and Bayley Fritsch (foot).

The Western Bulldogs will be missing Jason Johannisen (calf) and Ryan Gardner (elbow) when they take on North Melbourne, but Adam Treloar returns from ankle surgery and veteran Liam Jones was also named.

Jy Simpkin, Ben Cunnington and Todd Goldstein headline the big ins for the Kangaroos.
