A Geelong draftee is under investigation after being accused of allegedly assaulting a woman at a concert in Melbourne.

The Herald Sun is reporting Keighton Matofai-Forbes, who was drafted with pick 69 in this year’s draft, was approached by a woman at Australian DJ Dom Dolla’s gig at Flemington Racecourse on the weekend.

The 18-year-old has been accused of assaulting the woman during an alleged altercation between the pair. He has been reported to the AFL’s integrity unit.

Matofai-Forbes represented Victoria Metro during the Under 18s carnival and impressed scouts with 11 goals from seven games with the Western Jets.

After being drafted by the Cats, Matofai-Forbes described himself as a “powerful player”.

“I would describe myself as a bit of a powerful player, a power athlete and that is where most of my strengths lie,” he said.

“Like some of the other boys I am very aerobically based, can run all day.

“I can get up in the air and can move pretty quick, that is my strength.”

Fellow Geelong player Tanner Bruhn was questioned about an alleged sexual assault at a night club in October as a witness.
