Manypeaks and Denmark will lock horns for in a third straight B-grade decider on Saturday, part of an exciting Albany and Districts Cricket Association grand final weekend.

Peaks will face archrivals the Magpies in Saturday’s B-grade decider for their third consecutive season, hoping to defend the title they won back from the Magpies in the 2023-24 season.

The teams’ first grand final decider came down to a thrilling tie at the end, with the Magpies awarded the premiership based on their high ladder standing at the end of the regular season.

The two teams clashed in this season’s qualifying final, Peaks winning by 36 runs before the Magpies went on to fight off Narrikup for a grand final spot.

Peaks’ qualifying final win handed them a direct ticket to Saturday’s grand final, with play starting at noon at Turf East.

Manypeaks finished third on the ladder in the C-grade competition, knocking Royals out in the elimination final with a strong 96-run win, as Collingwood Park put themselves straight into the grand final with a crushing win over Denmark.

The Magpies took another punt against the Peaks in the preliminary but their grand final hopes were ended with a seven-wicket loss as Peaks got another side into a grand final.

The C-grade decider against Collingwood Park will start at 12.30pm at Hard North.

The under 17s competition has Collingwood Park and Manypeaks lined up for another clash on Sunday from 11am at Turf North.

Peaks and Railways tied in the preliminary final but Peaks progressed as the higher-ranked team.

In the under-12s, the Stars will take on Mt Barker from 8.30am on Saturday, and the under-14s Heat will take on Mt Barker from 7.45am.
