About 160 sick, disadvantaged and special needs children and their parents enjoyed Variety Mid West Geraldton’s largest Kids Christmas Party.

Kids attending the sixth annual event were treated to pony rides, farm animals, face painting, ice-cream and fairy floss at the Geraldton Turf Club.

Jump and Bump and Riding for the Disabled were two of the local businesses who supported the event, while Santa even made an early trip to deliver presents.

The Rangeway Rockets, a group of students from Rangeway Primary School, also provided entertainment for the party-goers.

Variety Mid West Geraldton regional co-ordinator Jan Ajduk said it was a fun-filled day for the “big, happy Variety family”.
