Danny Tuddenham captured this bird’s-eye view of Point Moore on Monday morning, showing a snorkeler’s ideal tide level.

The low tide comes after reports of erosion losing about 15m of coastline over the past six months, leaving the marine rescue hub and its associated infrastructure under threat.

Mr Tuddenham said the community was fortunate to overlook Geraldton’s stunning coastlines.

“We have got it pretty good around here,” he said.

“The reef was really exposed at the point in front of the car park.”

Facebook comments noted how the reef looks like Australia sideways.
