Exhibition puts event planning on Mid West radar

Options can start looking a little slim when trying to plan a wedding or event in a regional town.

Not knowing what to do or where to even start can get a little stressful — which is where the Collective Bridal and Event Showcase is here to help.

Its All Sorted has partnered up with Eternally You to plan a wedding and events showcase next month at the Batavia Hall.

Its All Sorted co-ordinator Emma Howell said with the absence of any such expo, they aimed to arm the Mid West with a bundle of planning options.

“This expo is a way for people to be able to plan their events all in the one place,” she said.

“It’s taking the stress out of planning and letting people see what’s out there in the Mid West.

“Since we no longer have a bridal expo, future brides can use the showcase as a tool to plan their wedding or any other events.”

For those brides and grooms-to be, everything you need to know from dresses, venues and caterers will pitch up a stall.

It’s not just weddings taking centre stage though — a list of other event helpers for plans including parties, christenings and celebrations are set to take up one side of the hall.

Ideas on locations, decorations and the perfect party platter are just some of the exhibitors set to feature.

Howell said it was literally everything under the one roof.

“We’re planning on hopefully splitting up the hall into the two sections of weddings and other events,” she said.

“Everything you need to organise a great event is going to be there so you’ll be able to take home a lot of information.”

With the event due to kick off on February 15, organisers are still on the lookout for more stall holders to set up on the day and a variety of services are encouraged to apply.

Registrations are available by following the link on the Its All Sorted website at www.itsallsorted.com.au.

The expo is due to run from 10am to 3pm on Sunday, February 15.
