Free skateboarding clinics open to all
Local skaters will carve and grind their way through free Skateboarding WA clinics scheduled to hit Geraldton later this month.
The clinics, in partnership with the City of Greater Geraldton, are open to all ages and skills on Saturday, May 21 at Wonthella Skate Park.
City of Greater Geraldton Mayor Shane Van Styn said previous skateboarding clinics had proven popular.
“The City is stoked to have the guys from Skateboarding WA back in town to present these clinics,” he said.
“Anyone can come down and have a go no matter what their age or skill level.
“We will also be hosting a free barbecue and there will also be prizes and giveaways from event sponsor Pontoon Store.”
Clinics will be held from 10am-12pm with registration closing at 10.30am.
Helmets and skateboards will be provided while a best trick jam session will be held from 12.30pm.
Registration forms can be found on the City of Greater Geraldton website.
