Stolen cars dumped and torched at school oval
Police are seeking witnesses after two vehicles was stolen in Mount Tarcoola and Drummond Cove, driven to Rangeway and set on fire.
About 1.20am on Sunday thieves entered a premises in Mount Tarcoola and stole an iPad, purse and car keys.
The keys were used to steal a red Toyota Landcruiser.
The iPad was later found damaged on Flores Road.
Between 1.30am and 3.30am on Sunday thieves also entered a residence in Reef Road, Drummond Cove, and stole a purse, an undisclosed quantity of cash and car keys.
The purse was recovered outside the premises.
The car keys were used to steal a blue Hyundai Elantra.
Both vehicles were found later on Sunday morning, on fire on the John Willcock College oval.
