Boy charged over baseball bat vandalism

An 11-year-old boy from Utakarra has been charged with criminal damage after an incident at a service station on Rifle Range Road, Rangeway, yesterday.

Police say he was one of two youths who allegedly used a baseball bat to strike the front door of the service station about 5.20pm, causing large cracks to the door.

The youth will appear in Geraldton Children’s Court at a later date.
