Lone seagull strays 100km from ocean
A lone seagull has landed at a town in WA's Mid West, more than 100 kilometres from the nearest ocean.
The bird arrived at the public swimming pool in Mullewa just over a week ago and, according to reports, divides its time between the pool and the school oval.
“It is a young one as it has the brown tips on its feathers, no one has any idea how it got there," one local said.
"In 20 years people have never seen a seagull in Mullewa.”
