Big upset to Cougars sours trip for Buccs
The S&K Electrical Geraldton Buccaneers have endured a mixed road trip over the weekend.
The Buccs accounted for the Eastern Suns on Saturday night, eclipsing the Kalamunda-based side 109-94 after a blistering last term.
Aaron Ralph and Bennie Lewis were in fine form for the Buccs, shooting 30 points apiece, while Carter Cook was ever reliable, chipping in with 26.
The same could not be said yesterday, with the Buccs going down 105-98 to the Cockburn Cougars.
The Buccs led by eight points heading into the final term, but a Gavin Field-inspired Cougars side were able to cause a big upset, with Field firing home 14 points to lift the Cougars over the line.
